Part-Time Administrative Clerk

Position  - Administrative Clerk  (part-time)
Status  - Part-Time Non-Exempt Position
The Frankfort Park District is seeking a responsible individual to join the Park District team as an Administrative Clerk. Primary responsibilities will be to perform clerical duties that support the operation of the Park District including processing program registrations, facility rentals, answering questions related to programs. Additional duties consist of completing clerical tasks, answering telephone and email, greeting visitors and assisting with special events.
 
Qualifications
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with a minimum of 1-3 years of related office and/or customer service experience. Strong math, cash handling, customer service and computer skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook as well as database systems, are required along with the ability to operate general office equipment. Organizational, communication and interpersonal skills are must along with exceptional attention to detail.
 
Hours
Hours will be 20 hours per week; Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-1:00 pm; some flexibility available on days and times. Schedule may depend on needs related to office coverage. With prior notice, work hours may include one Saturday per year or an evening to assist with a special events. 
 
Compensation - Base pay will range from $16.50-$20 per hour. New hires can anticipate pay close to the entry pay.
