About Us

The Frankfort Park District serves over 18,000 participants a year through recreation/athletic programs and events. The Park District offers a wide variety of programming for all ages including Preschool, before & after school care, athletics, dance, gymnastics, martial arts, fitness, special events, trips, summer day camps and much more. The District has more than 250 acres of park land. Explore our 19 parks with 4 miles of paved trails. Featuring our community-built Fort Frankfort, 18 playgrounds, 22 softball/baseball fields, a splash park, a pump track, a sled hill, 3 pickleball courts, soccer fields, tennis courts, a football field, fishing piers, shelters, and 4 pavilions. The Bark Park is an award-winning dog park where dogs and dog owners can socialize!
