Tech Support Specialist (Part Time)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and tech-savvy individual who is passionate about technology, data, and analytics to join our team as a Part-Time Tech Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide critical technical support to our staff while managing our data systems and technology platforms.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Hours: 15-20 hours per week (Monday/Wednesday/Friday during business hours)
  • Response Time: 24-hour turnaround expected
  • Compensation: $20-22 per hour
  • Hybrid Remote ?

Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

  • Provide comprehensive technical support for staff across computer hardware, software, and network issues

  • Troubleshoot and resolve GSuite-related problems (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Drive)

  • Manage IT security concerns and ensure compliance with security protocols

  • Perform on-site tech setup at any of our four locations (Naperville, Shorewood, Lemont, Frankfort)

Data Management

  • Compile and analyze monthly metrics data for the practice

  • Maintain and optimize data management systems

  • Create and maintain documentation for technical processes

Platform Management

  • Serve as the primary expert for organizational software tools

  • Evaluate and implement new technology platforms

  • Manage platform integration and ensure system compatibility

  • Conduct staff training on new and existing platforms

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets

  • Experience in technical support and troubleshooting

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data compilation and analysis

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Passion for numbers, data, and analytics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Google Looker

  • Background in IT security

  • Previous tech support role experience
