Summary: 
Responsible for the development and leadership of a comprehensive development, fundraising and communications program focused on increasing revenue, building, and maintaining donor relationships, securing new donors/funding sources, marketing, communications, and public relations. Provides leadership and oversight to the development department staff and works closely with agency staff, board members, and volunteers in individual, corporate/business, civic and other group solicitation; government and foundation relations, special events, and annual campaigns/appeals/events.

Education Required:

Bachelor’s Degree:  Human Services or Related Field. Valid Driver’s License
Experience Required: 10+ years of Fundraising Experience Highly entrepreneurial, resourceful, and flexible Experience supporting big ticket event fundraising Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Excellent organizational skills and proven ability to manage. Projects and volunteers, Proficiency in using computers and database programs. Prefer experience with Salesforce and fundraising software, Demonstrated excellence in public speaking skills. The ability to maintain confidentiality.
