Job Description
The Frankfort Park District is accepting applications for a part-time Fundraising/Community Outreach Coordinator. Individual will work between 15-20/week, hours will vary based on events and meetings and will include some evenings and weekends. Position is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing the District’s fundraising and public relations activity. Key functions include fundraising and securing sponsorships, attending Park District, Chamber and civic meetings and events to promote the District. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Fundraising, Recreation, Parks and Recreation, or related field, and/or at least two years’ experience in the field of Recreation and two year’s minimum experience preferred. Starting pay is $18-21/hr. Applications available at and at the Founders Center located at 140 Oak St., Frankfort, IL 60423.
