Name: Building Hope for the Future: Recovery From Addiction
Date: April 17, 2018
Time: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM CDT
Event Description:

The definition of addiction will be discussed from different perspectives and the concept of behavior or process addictions will be introduced. The main focus will be on what purpose the addictive behavior serves the person rather than “why” they do it.  We will talk about what recovery really looks like as well as barriers to treatment. What AA and the 12 Steps are and are not will be touched on and we will end with question and answers.

- Presented by Roseann Rook CADC, Timberline Knolls
